Ed Sheeran and co-writer Amy Wadge win Best Song of the Year Grammy for Thinking Out Loud

All the folks at Little Rabbit Barn congratulate Amy Wadge on receiving a Grammy win Best Song of the Year for Thinking Out Loud. We have been thrilled to host Amy with Pete Riley twice at LRB and look forward to hearing the new record by Ellie Jamison, produced by Amy Wadge with maybe another co-write or two.

Ed Sheeran and his Thinking Out Loud co-writer have brought home a Grammy for Song of the Year.

Sheeran and singer-songwriter Amy Wadge , who lives in Pontypridd, attended the ceremony in Los Angeles on Monday .

They were up against the likes of Taylor Swift, Little Big Town and Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth.

Platinum-selling Thinking Out Loud, from Sheeran’s album X, won Song of the Year in the Grammy 2016 nominations.

It also won Best Pop Solo Performance and was nominated for Record of the Year, which was won by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars for Uptown Funk.

The global smash hit reached number two in the Billboard Hot 100 – holding down that position for eight consecutive weeks – and number one in the UK, where it celebrated 52 consecutive weeks in the top 40 in June 2015.

Here’s a little blast from the past, 2012 in fact, Amy Wadge and Pete Riley live at LRB,  before our videos were captured on multi cams with mixed digital audio. Hey, it’s nice to look back to see where we were a few years ago.
