Own release, 2020 album Autonomy was a critical smash, prompting Rolling Stone to hail her “John Prine-esque observation” and NPR to declare her “one of Nashville’s most fearless young singer-songwriters.” Follow up album Hypocrite, is a remarkable work of self-reflection that finds comfort in facing the uncomfortable head-on. The arrangements are lush and hypnotic, and the writing is as raw and vulnerable as it gets, confronting everything from religion and trauma to body image and motherhood with unflinching honesty.

The coming together of three amazingly talented artistes from US, NZ and UK was truly an alignment of good fortune and fate that will be hard to recreate. Can't believe this was October 2018. Where do the years go.
