JACKIE BRISTOW closing out LRB 2026.
What a showdown for the 2026 LRB music season, and what a year it has been! Elaine Palmer on her first appearance (and it won’t be her last) with LRB friend, Joe Wilkins. It was Joe who recommended Elaine to us and we understand why. She delivered a beautiful set of fine songs to set anyone’s spine a tingle…
Here are some amazing pictures from the evening courtesy of LRB friend and supporter Andy Sheard.
We thank everyone who has supported the LRB and these world quality artists as without you all, we do not have a show. It’s that simple, we support it or lose it in these tough times for the independent music world.
ELAINE PALMER | SOME SEEK SILVER | FILMED AND RECORDED ON THE EVENING
What can we say about Jackie Bristow and Mark Punch This was their second visit to LRB and we wonder why we ever left it so long.
The performance from Jackie Bristow and Mark Punch was stunning from two of the nicest and funniest people in the business, as well as world quality performers. A truly fitting final act to close the excellent 2026 season in style.
Once again we thank all the artists and guests over the year who have made an evening at LRB as special as it always is. You come to LRB and you are a part of the band. You are the reason we do this and a lifeline for performing artists who face an ever greater struggle to stay on the road.
